Hi guys,

Posted this on an M3 forum too but nobody has been able to help so far, so worth a shot here.

I was away this weekend and about 24 hours after I parked my car up (in England) I got a phone call to say my rear left light was on.

Today I flew home and found that the left brake light was on. There were no front lights on and the indicator stalk wasn't up or down.

The car started fine and I've driven it for about 10 minutes but the left brake light is on constantly. Tried all light positions too and nothing gets it to turn off!

The car is on my drive now with this one light on!

Anyone got any ideas?

Are they LED lamps? If not then pull the bulb out see if its dual filament, sometimes if the filament go's and drops across the other gives you a fed keeping the brake light on. Worth a try,

Thanks for the suggestions.

It has the LED lights but it looks like an electrical fault. I swapped the light clusters over and the same thing happened so it's not to do with the lights.

Tried disconnecting the battery too but no luck.

Taking it into a garage tonight, will update this thread with the outcome.
