E39 M5 - failed MOT

My car failed its MOT at the weekend --- minor issues apart from rear arm ball joint giving too much play, the guy is getting a quote to fix ---

Does anybody know what this is supposed to cost roughly?
I heard they are quite easy to get to so should not take too long to fix

headlights - one aiming too high and the other too low was the other reason it failed ---
