Hi,
Put the M3 on the dyno for the first time today...
440.5 BHP max power. 339.4 FtLb of Torque (attached
All Stock + Eisenmann Race Muffler. 35,000 miles on the clock.
Pretty surprised that at the increase over stock?! Pleased also!

Was that on the mobile dyno at Dads' day out? If so I saw and heard it - sounded excellent.
Yes it was! Glad you liked it, i was the smug bloke filming it!
I think it should have been on the track along with the other supercars on show, its more than capable, with the sooundtrack to match!
Hi Tom
Any 'before' Eisenmann exhaust fitted dyno figures?
Some 'M' cars produce a little more than their official figures, some produce a little less.
From your post, without the before figures it could be either way
1. Your car was producing say 414 bhp all standard and stock. Fitting the Eisenmann has released 26 bhp. or
2. Your car was producing 427 bhp all standard and stock, fitting the Eisenmann gave you 13 bhp.
I may be wrong completely, but to release around 25-30 bhp, you'd have to fit a full exhaust system and possibly the headers and manifold as well to get those sorts of gains. Perhaps the new M3 is more 'tunable' or responsive to just a backbox change.
Cheers, Dennis

looks and sounds great Tom...I think I'm keeping mine and going down the exhaust, minor tune road with Thorney...
I hear Thorney do a good tune, but they only do Miltek exhausts which sound rubbish, take a look at IND distrubution in California, they can then hook you up with a dealer in the UK. Much better selection.http://parts.ind-distribution.com/

i dont have any pre muffler dyno runs sadly. I agree with you that i doubt the muffler provided this much increase over stock, i think i just got a magic car! Any 'before' Eisenmann exhaust fitted dyno figures?

I will need to do a few more dyno runs before i can get a more accurate measurement, I imagine this one is a little overstated, but means i can brag 440 for a few weeks...
