E46 cab M3 rear noise?
Discussion
Just noticed a noise from what seems rear pass side when going sharply right ie roundabout, sounds like pads rubbing on disc but isnt...or bearing, only done 30k miles, I didnt have radio on which I normally do. Roof was up...I guess you notice noise more in a cab??? Doesnt seem to do it going left...
Any ideas?

i think i had the same problem on my e46 M3 coupe - obviously cant be sure the sound was exactly the same.
I ended up taking the rear discs off and giving the handbrake shoes and inner disc a good wire brushing, i also bent the disc gaurd back a bit on the offending corner as it was only a few mm clear - This cured my grinding sound problem.
The thing is with the handbrake shoe design is that bits of stone and crap can get lodged and then start scraping. I dont quite know why it happens on corners mostly but mine was the same, and i started to lift handbrake up whilst moving and it seemed to go away for a bit.
Just a thought - i know it makes the car sound a bit of a shed when it happens and mine being a 55reg it was unacceptable.
