Hey all

Considering putting my M3 CS on track later in the year and thinking that i'll probably need to upgrade the pads and fluid..

Any recommendations on Pads to fit?

This old CSL brake thread might help a little:

Incidentally, everywhere I read recommends the Pagids, however they're quite pricey. I will be taking my car on track in June and a couple of friends swear by EBC Yellowstuff. Since I'm not regularly going on track I've gone for these and some decent brake fluid since they're a third of the price of the Pagids. I'll have to wait to see in June if they're any good or not.

The Ferrodo's mentioned above are widely recommended on the BM forums. 5.1 fluid is a must if you're going on track. Most people seem to say that the standard stoppers aren't really up to track work so don't go mad if you have the standard disks.

I'm not going to track my M3 as too much wear and tear, but did a lot in my previous motor (Stage 2 Leon Cupra R) and used the EBC Yellowstuff also mentioned above, and found them to be excellent, especially with heat in them. Better than the Ferrodo's in fact which I also used. EBC now do a Bluestuff which is an 'endurance' track pad which may also be worth a look.

What track are you doing?
