E46 M3 Alloy Refurbishment
Discussion
Hi Guys,
Seven days after getting my car valleted, my E46 M3 Alloy Wheels have lost their shiny chrome appearance and have corroded.
I now need a refurbishment to get them looking nice again, but am unsure what type of refurb would be best.
I live in the Maidenhead / Windsor (UK) area. Can anyone recommend of any companies?
Can someone please advise what type of refurbishment you would suggest. I have done some research, and it seems that The Diamond Cut Process, leaves a matt finish and is not shiny?
What would be the best finish and how long can I expect them to last?
Thanks.

same happened to me when hand wash guys used some kind of acid on them and they went really dull! - i ended up just getting some of that metal polish by autoglym and after a few goes over brought them back up to standard.
I would guess urs are currently unlaquered for this to have happeded. It was only the rim on mine that were unprotected after a refurb.
I would try the polish first for £10 a bottle, otherwise my Dad had his polished wheels on the 654I done at wicked wheels and they managed to restore to original. £95 per wheel plus VAT

Wrong area for you, but I recently had my 19's done at Renowheel in Bridgend. Great job with no flaws spotted yet. Will have to see how they last. If you've got the 19's you'll want a diamond polish to get them back to factory.

I'll try and get some pics of mine up for reference sometime.
