1) Leather Care - I have an E90 saloon with the usual Novillo Black leather - whats the best treatment for it, I've normally used zymol products, but do I use the same, as the leather is the not the usual smooth finish, but almost more like nubuck leather... History has taught me that even if the leather is sealed if you treat it a couple of times a year the bolsters etc wear much better so want to keep doing that (the side bolster already looks like it needs a bit of TLC).....
Any tips welcome!!!

2) Tracker - I'm renewing my insurance quote (previously just transferred policy from car I sold) - when I transferred the broker said I didnt need a tracker (tho previously I had one on the Maser since it was a pre-req), now most of the quotes I look at online say I need a tracker to complete the quote (I have a renewal quote from the broker but seems a bit steep).
Do most people have a tracker, any recommendations - what type, previously had navtrak ADR at princely sum of 200 sheets a year (I live in central london, car is 2009 year).

Cheers

Tracker: I've got a Tracker Horizon, it was already on my car (bought used back in late '08), but I had to call up and renew it, I'm in central London and any half decent quote insisted on a tracker. If the car gets stolen then I'd rather not get it back anyway.

Can't really help on the leather care...sorry about that.

Regarding leather care.....visit LTT Leather Care and buy their Ultra car 150 kit, just unbeatable.

I think the trackers are a con, as somebody else said if my car got stolen I wouldnt want it back. I was forced to renew the tracker horizon subscription for insurance recently on my M5, cost £130 to renew for a year and then they had the cheek to say it needed a 'service' as it was over 5 years old( installed from new)...and for the privilege of somebody coming and saying 'that looks ok mate' it will cost me £80

No tracker on my saloon, based in Surrey, and quote seemed very competitive.

I'll need to have an hour or so treating my front seats, they are starting to look like they are wearing! This new leather doesn't seem to be lasting any where near the same as my first M3, an E36 all those years ago!! Maybe it's global warming and Cow's skin is getting thinner!!?? Lol.

I have a tracker monitor in mine. Hopefully, the way it's meant to work, means if anyone tries to nick it, they don't get very far before everyone is alerted! I can't recall needing one, but as it was in the car already I thought I might as well use it!
