Hi,

Am going to be selling my M6 in the next 2 weeks and wanted some advise on the price I should advertise it for.

2005 silverstone

Full Indi leather

44k miles

Full option. The only thing missing is TV

Full BMW warranty.

Tax and Mot. 2 owners.

The car is near perfect and looks really good with the colour combo.

I'm looking for about £28500 for it. Price too high or just right?

Hmmm assuming your a private seller then it's maybe a little high but have a punt at that price and see what happens.

Though given current fuel prices I fear the number of buyers might be thin on the ground biggrin

Well, there were about 10 on BMW AUC last week for £27k-£30k, and they'll come with 12 month's warranty.
Didn't read into the options on each of them, so there may be some leeway there, and the colours may not be the desirable ones, so more leeway there.

I'd stick it on at what you've said, but be prepared to negotiate down a bit - otherwise a buyer may as well go for the 'security' of a BMW AUC one.

Not quite true.. The only M6 on the AUC below 30k is leggy and IMHO a most undesirable colour combo. Once you pass 60k miles the warranty costs hike up. There are a few crowding the low 30's but these are a mixed bunch. I saw a very good one that sold before it even hit the AUC site which was £33, but needed 4 tyres, brakes doing within the year, and plugs too. I have also seen some rotters. If you have a nice clean & tidy car, with the transferrable warranty, and good (not mixed!) tyres & brakes I think 28,550 is reasonable. However I think your colour combo is not the most desirable, and think Silverstone with Silverstone leather or Black/Black is going to be the easiest to sell.
