Ive just had Bilstein B6 shocks & Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs fitted on my M3 about 3 days ago. It does'nt seem to be sitting right at the front (a little high), could this be due to the springs needing to settle?

Thanks

Mark

Assuming the springs are new, quite likely they will settle a bit.

Also, are the shocks themselves height adjustable? If so, you may need to get them dropped a touch.

Part of this will be the Bilsteins I imagine.

They are known for being so stiff that the car sits a little higher.

I had this when I fitted them to my e36 M3. Every time the car was jacked up and lowered down it looked like a 4x4 until it re-settled.

I had new (standard) springs fitted with the dampers, and the garage actually thought they had got the wrong springs to start with as it sat so high when they first dropped it off the ramp.

Cheers for the feedback,

I dont think the B6's are adjustable, but will have a check. Hopefully the car will settle.

Thanks

I was always under the impression springs took a matter of hours to settle, not months?
