So I had a genius thought - i'll get the M3 checked out before I head across the channel for the 24hrs du kronenberg...

I'd had a couple of strange sounds from the rear end of the car when I was last out for a run and it was going to be due an oil service on my return anyway.

So oil service no problem, brake fluid changed as well and then they casually mention that oh by the way sir did you know both rear springs were broken...

Car has done 35k and both have cracked!!!

So one rush job later and i'm ready to leave for france.. Just with a lot less beer money than I had...
