Low spec model in (IMHO) hideous colour combo.

Not really that cheap, just low mileage.
There are near no optional gadgets fitted.

I have Kiwi Leather in mine, looks great IMO, just not sure about the Yellow.

One of the mags (performance BMW maybe) did afeature on the £10k e46M3 about 12 months ago.
They finished by saying that they were maybe bending the truth, and that such a thing would be very hard to find.
They then said that if you could find a poverty spec M3 on 18"s in Phoenix yellow you might just hit lucky.
Looks to me like that motor fits the bill.
BTW I love the colour.

Don't get me wrong: I like the Phoenix Yellow and I like the Kiwi leather... but just not on the same car.

Both those cars are pre-facelift. The steel grey car has naff grey leather and also appears to have wood trim. The silver car looks ok, but perhaps the colour combo is a little boring.

However, if either floats your boat, then go along and have a look. Always always buy on condition and service history. Make sure everything checks out and you should be ok.

There are quite a few E46 M3s around and prices are begining to soften significantly. With 18s and no sat nav I think it's in the right ball park.
A lot of higher milers are now selling at well below 10k. Don't forget, that is where prices were 18 months ago...used car values in general went up significantly last year and are now levelling out.
