Pads and discs

I'm replacing the front pads and discs on my E46 M3.

I'm going to buy the performance friction pads based on the positive reviews on PH and elsewhere.

Would OEM discs work well with the pads? I don't fancy spending a small fortune on fancy ones if there's little to no difference.
