I will try and keep this as short as possible, first a little bit about Mr Van Manen himself.

I only met him about 6 weeks ago but he has already left a lasting impression on me, I don¡¦t think I have ever met a guy who is so passionate about his products, is so conciencous (spelling) when it comes to your car and how you feel about it.
He couldn¡¦t seem to do enough for me to the extent that I was on holiday for a week, (in Portugal) he kept my car and pretty much ironed out all the problems that my car through up after the fitting of the headers in that week (more to come on that).
He texted or phoned me nearly every day whilst I was on holiday just to keep me updated on what was happening with my car, he even cleaned my new bbs lm reps cause I asked him too!!
Oh and he lived in Wimborne, Dorset and so did I ļ

So to the car, well as you probably gather we had a couple of little problems, firstly myself and Johannes weren¡¦t happy with the figures, well actually Johannes wasn¡¦t.
I would have been but Johannes was adamant there was more to come, I would imagine most tuning firms would have said ¡§ well sir that¡¦s around about the right figure¡¨ and taken my money (and yes I am paying for this).
So anyway in the week when Johannes had my car he found that my remap (morego) didn¡¦t like his headers so flashed it back to std (so hopefully there should be some more power there with a decent remap), I had a cracked spark plug so fitted a new set, my performance filters had buggered my mafs to the extent that one of them wasn¡¦t giving the right readings so fitted a pair of new filters and lent me a new set of mafs.
He also has fitted his own 100 cell racing cats with his headers, it is now making 437.8 fwhp, it was previously making 409 fwhp.
So nigh on 30 bhp more with a remap to come wink , so how does it drive I hear you say!!
When its your car its quite difficult to be abjective (right word, not sure) but it is pretty awesome, the power is felt from about 3-3500k and it just swells from there, it just wants rev and doesn¡¦t seem to mind it either, I was always a bit nervous about hitting the rev limiter but it seems to love it now (not that I try to).
One of the things I said to Johannes was ¡§it doesn¡¦t feel any quicker but the revs and the speed get there quicker¡¨, if you know what I mean (theres that abjective word again wink).
Oh and the other thing is the noise, now my car sounded pretty good anyway wink but now it sounds awesome especially above 3-3500k, I took a friend out in last night and went through a tunnel and he couldn¡¦t stop laughing afterwards, it just screams like f1 come race car now!!

Obviously with good things do come bad things, Johannes told me he wants good and bad comments so lets see what I can come up with that¡¦s bad ƒº.
Comms, now Johannes will be the first person to put his hand up and tell you his customer service isn¡¦t the best but to be fair to the guy he is an engineer by trade, he has started this co of his from scratch and is pretty much working on his own, when you do get hold of him he could send you to sleep (not in a bad way) with what he knows about suspension, exhausts, engines etc, the guy is a minefield of expertise.

Now I also just wanted to say that everything ive written is in my opinion, im paying for pretty much everything and I have no vested interest in Van Manen as a co apart from wanting to see Johannes do well and hopefully help him out in anyway I can.

Not sure if your taking the proverbial or not but the tests were done on Surrey rolling road which i am lead to believe is one of the better ones in the area.

I know a lot of guys off of here have been there and they rate them, so dont know what your problem is, that is of course if your taking the p**s or not!!!
