M3 E46 Radio fault

Hi

I've a 2004 model and today my radio will not turn on. I've the sat nav/tv etc. These work fine, as does the computer, but the radio fails to turn on!!

Any ideas, comments would be gratefully accepted.

Try disconnecting the battery for fifteen mins to see if this resets and everything is OK.

BM54 radio modules are a common failure - if this the problem as far as I know it is very difficult to repair and will need to be replaced. Can be obtained from eBay or dealer. Good-luck, Gary

I'm sure this happened to me and it was a setting, sorry my memory is cr*p, try searching the m3 cutters forum that's where I manage to get most info from.

Happened to me when the battery was low - charge the battery for a few hours, see if this sorts it

Took fuses out, replaced, and its working! Weird.
