On our way back from Brittany, we got stuck in slow moving traffic around Caen, and I spotted a French plated Z3 coupe, but with only one double exhaust, and it was badged Tii. It also had a large "chrysler" type badge on the rear. Sounds all rather odd, but as the traffic flow went, I got stuck in the slower lane, and before I was able to get close, he turned off and it went out of sight.

It was definitely the breadvan and not a Z3 convertible with a hardtop, as the hardtop does not extend all the way to the back as the breadvan does. The double exhaust was located on the drivers side, which is odd, as I thought all M cars came with the twin double exhausts as I have on my E39 M5.

Doh, I should have googled better before I wrote the above, as I've just spotted this image:



which other than the 3.0i badging matches what I saw...

Probably be the 2.8i version then. Was never available in the UK which was a shame I feel.
