Anyone know of good BMW E36 M3 Evo Specialist in Surrey...?

Hi guys,

New to the Gassing Station, although I've been using PistonHeads for a long time!

Title says it all really, I'm looking for specialists of the E36 M3 Evo variety in the Surrey area for an Inspection II service... My local BMW dealer gave me a tremendous quote of £840. How kind!

I've had a read around and I've come across PMW, CPC, BMSport, Thorney Motorsport, but they are all that bit too far away. I need somewhere closer really.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just spoken to James Paul BMW Specialists near Horsham, they offer the best rate I've come across so far, but no valve clearance check included, he says it really isn't worth doing for a car of my mileage.

The valve clearance debate goes on!

Has anybody had any experience with these guys?

There are some excellent BMW specialists near Heathrow / Uxbridge. Are you willing to drive around the M25 for 30 mins to get a great job done for a reasonable price?

I live in Surrey and all my cars go to CPC.

Avoid anyone who says a valve clearance check is not needed on these.

Mark at MJF engineering, you won't find better. Based between Dorking and Horsham 01306 713232. He looked after both my E30 M3 and my ZMCoupe.

Seconded - He builds race engines and did work on my Sport Evo. Honest and reasonably priced!
