BMW Warranty

Evening,

I have a 53 plate M3. I bought from a main dealer and have around one month warranty left, I am only keeping it for around another six months and am unsure if I should renew the warranty. Does anyone know how much it will cost me and if it will add resale value? I know it will help it sell easier but am not sure if I will bother, but I suppose it is price dependent.

Depends on milage. Below 60k its £690 to £900 dependant on xs you select (£0 to £250).Above 60k its much more expensive and excludes some suspension stuff........however, I have a thread (no replies so far) about this subject, since there is also talk of a monthly version. It seems that if its taken out before 60k you avoid the increase, even if the car rolls past 60k soon afterwards, offers full cover for more or less the sub 60k premiums, as long as you keep making monthly payments.......If that was transferable it could suit you too at re-sale.

cheers for that, the car has only done 34k so should be ok. I am thinking BMW will probably get in touch with me when the warranty nears its end.
