Hi All,

since I got this 2004 car (in 2007) it has now had 4 pairs or side repeaters, some on goodwill, some on warranty.

The ALL fill up with water the first time it rains. Both sides effected.

I cannot believe that they all leak out of the box (although the mouldings do look decidedlt dodgy) as I have seen enough M3s with out fogged up / driptray repeaters to know that some of them do work.

Could the water get in round the back somehow? There is an 'O'ring seal there that looks and feels integral when assembled.

Has anyone else had this problem and cured it?

Any comments appreciated..

Had an E46 M3 in 2003, never had this problem, but if you take it out & put a bit of clear silicone around fitting (i.e. seal it) this should stop water. Make sure everything is dry before applying silicone though. Silicone will need approx. 24 hours to cure through.

I have a spare left indicator you can have if you pay postage.
