E46 M3 convert, with harmon

Ok we have the standard stereo with the harmon upgrade, with a parrot hands free kit. Over time the speakers have been turning off one by one, guess connections are going funny etc (over 2 years)
Now the bluetoof parrot kit has stopped powering up.
Should I -
A - risk the stupid labour charge and have it looked at by an audio person, keep set up.
B - buy a new stereo where b/tooth(removing parrot - swark) is built in and works dandy in my other car, if so whats with the harmon speakers in that setup???
wife blames electrics for parrot failing I blame her mouth for moving too much...
