I know I'm going to regret this but have seen the acronym AUC used a few times, it's not auction so what is it?

Also, last year there was a thread that became a bit of a mickey-take with people asking for BMW service histories based on a request of just the reg-no. Is this something a dealer would be willing to email to you or is there some pay-per-query service ? i.e. for checking on potential purchases...

cheers,
Steve

There is a number you can dial which costs £1 per min but gives you full service history and options list.

Hi

I bought an E46 M3 earlier this year and I had some service receipts missing, although the book was stamped by a main dealer. Being a little concerned I phoned them up (Cotswold BMW) and they promptly sent out all the service documentation (minus previous owners address etc) on all the work that had been carried out, free of charge. In fact I believe it arrived the next day.

I just quoted my Reg No.
