HI GUYS LOOKING FOR SOME INFO ON HEAD GASKET RELACEMENT ANY ONE DONE ONE? DO I NEED SPECIALIST TOOLS ETC?
ITS LOST COMPRESION IN CYLINDERS 2 AND 3 SO IM HOPEING ITS GASKET NOT VALVES OR RINGS.
ANY INFO OR ADVISE WOULD BE GREAT AS IM NOT UP FOR PAYING MY LOCAL SPECIALIST 2K PLUS!!!!

You'll be looking at about 1.5k in parts alone, that's before you find anything to replace - hence many E34 M5's being scrapped.

As good as the M60/M62 is, unfortunately it is not a match for the mighty S38...

Could be a cracked head at worst,they are still available from BMW but prepare for a wallet bruising.
