E46 M3 DSC and Brake warning lights?

Hi all,on the drive home earlier the brake warning light (handbrake) and DSC warning light came on together in yellow.

Ive just checked the owners handbook and it says the complete regulating system for ABS,CBC and DSC has failed! Dont like the sound of that at all.

Has anyone experienced this before and have any idea what the cause may be? It might only be a knackered sensor or something but having just spent £1600 on the car last month i could cerainly do without it.

Also about an hour before this happened after locking the car with the central locking fob the standard fit alarm went off.This has never happened before in four years of owning the car and im wondering if there could be a connection ie.electrical fault etc.

Wheel sensor would be first port....

dont really know, but the lights come on for all sorts of reasons, i would get it plugged in find the fault, could be a steering angle sensor, or hopefully something simple
