Quite strong money for a 52 plate with 70k on the clock.

It's also missing Harmon Kardon stereo system, other than that seems well spec'd

Do you definitely want silver as it's a very common colour? Red leather is more saleable than black with titan silver if I'm honest.

Wheels have been refurbished and look painted to me rather than diamond cut which is the standard method of trying to restore them.

I looked at a few before buying one recently. My filter mechanism on the phone as well as the usual questions on owners/history etc was to ask what brand the tyres were and what the tread was like. Also when the disks/pads were last changed (£500 for the fronts).

Thanks for your reply, will take those points you have made in to consideration.

Interesting point regarding the wheel refurb, will scrutinize them closely.

Of course! Thanks though.

I was really wondering if anyone had viewed the car and been put off by anything in particular.

silver is not the best colour, and i would want to pay a absolute maximum of £10500 for that one.

a friend sold a dark blue 45k miler for £12k a year ago.

I'd say it's been lowered too by the look of it. See if you can get some more pictures emailed over to you before you commit to going to see it, as one isn't really going to give that good an idea of the overall condition. There are plenty of M3's to choose from and as previously stated this is expensive in my opinion.

Does it look lowered to you? I had not noticed. Any easy way to check when looking around it?

Doesn't look lowered to me, the rear sits about right but perhaps the front is a little low, may just be the photos though.

The exhaust doesn't look standard, those pipes look too fat.

Also, ex demo. I dread to think what abuse it had during the first few thousand miles of its life.

I'd say its priced too high given the amount out there. Should be nearer to £10k. Plenty out there for sale so dont jump in and buy the first one you look at.

looks nice to me but as everyone is saying the wheels make you think what else has been done on the cheap ???

It does look very nice, but I think if you spent some time looking around, you would definitely find a lower mileage example, in better condition and one that doesn't come with that nagging doubt, for a lot less money!

The wheels have been done on the cheap, what are the tires make/ condition?

I also think its been lowered and has a miltek back box,

I wonder what else has been done to her over the years?

ex demo? hard start in life,

when was the first service done??

and finally, i think a bit expensive, look for better, cheaper IMHO!!
