Just back to the office after picking up a E46 M3 CS in Interlagos Blue, can't wait for the weekend now!

Paid a little over the odds (£21,000) for a 47k car but has a full main dealer service history, a whole file of receipts from main dealer (incl full SMG replacement in August 10), 6 months left on the tracker subscription and 18 months warranty. Dealer has also thrown in a cost price Inspection II which is due in 8k so I'm happy with the price I paid.

Will post up some pics soon after a real good waxing over the weekend.

Loved the drive back from the dealers and looking forward to M ownership!

Agreed, and I did consider a CSL although I think you'd be very hard pushed to find a CSL with FSH/long Warranty/A1 condition for much under £26-28k in the South East. (awaits links of cheaper cars)

At the end of the day I could possibly have waited 6-8 months and found a like car for £1k less, hopefully I'll have what I consider £1k's worth of fun in those 6-8 months.

Many congrats, that's the colour I really wanted but couldn't afford a CS.

I'm sure it will be fine, I got them to do an inspection on my CSL before I picked it up and they were very thorough, I'd expect them to be the same with their sales cars.

Nice one Big, welcome. Hope you enjoy your CS as much as I'm enjoying mine. I've had it a month now and still learning new things all the time. It's qwerky and continually reminds you you're driving something that is so so different to a cookie cutter 3 series.

Need to get some pics of mine posted, but the two things that keep going through my mind are (i) the CS looks so much better in the flesh, no pics do it justice, and (ii) even seeing it in the flesh doesn't convey what a composed and balanced machine this is.

Did you drive many before you settled on this one ?
