...and someone reversed into it in the car park today!!

Front bumper/splitter scuffed and pushed back, front offside wing dented and buckled and indicator smashed.

I'm too upset to even swear about it, gutted. cry

Sods law! Do you know who is responsible or did you just come back to the car and find it damaged?

I came out of my local spar shop last year to see a woman in a peugeot hatch reversing into the front of my M3 cab.Despite waving my arms and shouting she still managed to hit it.Luckily it only suffered a cracked number plate so i just asked her for £20 which she was only too happy to give me,although after closer inspection the bumper does seem a little out of line now.

Hope you caught the careless tt anyway and get it sorted.

I had just dived into the office on the way to the gym so the guy that did it knows me and came and found me. It will go through his insurance but will still put my next years premium up.

Good news for you that he came and found you.

Now just make sure it's all done through his insurance and not yours.

I dont see why your insurance should go up because of it.Why should you be penalised because someone drove into your car when you wasn't even sat in it?

Insurance premiums are going up for everyone at the minute but if they use that as a reason next year to increase your premium i would tell them where to go!

Even if you make a non fault claim your premiums go up. The insurers justify this by spouting stats that show that if you have been in 1 non fault accident, you are more likely to be in another. You become higher risk so your premiums go up. Bcensoreds really.....

Was this the one from Munich legends?

Nightmare having this happen to a new car, at least he didn't drive off leaving you to foot the bill.

Do you have a good bodyshop to use? If you need one I know of a good one 10 minutes down the road from Munich legends.

Yep, Munich Legends car. I've taken it back to them and they said they use a bodyshop just just down the road, could well be the same one as I doubt there are too many out that way.

Who are they? I'm now based in East Grinstead so would be handy to know someone local that's recommended.

I'm not sure who they use although I've heard he does a good job.

The place I was going to recommend is www.sprcoachworks.co.uk in Uckfield they'll be painting the front bumper on my CSL at some point soon.
