e46 m3 what oil?

Call me thick but, I checked the engine oil and it's red-like power steering fluid!
It's the work of the devil! The devil,I tells ya!

I know Silkolene do a purple and a red oil (Pro-R and Pro-S), and the red stuff looks like blood when you're pouring it in.

Should be running on Castrol Edge 10w60 (not Sport). Originally Castrol TWS 10w60.

Those oils certainly aren't red!

Get that changed ASAP

Use Castrol EDGE 10W-60 for BMW M-Series engines

Either that or Castrol TWS 10W-60 for M-series engines.

Neither of which are red! So whatever is in there at the moment certainly does not sound right
