Hi, has anyone changed the air filters or installed an induction kit onto an E60 M5? What is the difference in induction noise?

I don't have it on my car but I believe the RPi ram air kit is highly recommended as it actually produces measurable gains:

No noise difference AFAIK.

RPI scoops, RPI block off plates and BMC filters. They make a big difference above 100, they say above 70 but to be honest I don't think it shows until after 100. CHeck out m5board.com they have HEAPS of info on all the mods available. Best website for any m5 owner!

Try picking up this months BMW Car magazine. There is full 7 page spread on my car and quite a bit of detail on the filters, scoops and block off plates with figures and data on gains
