Hi All,

Does anyone know if its possible to retrofit the following to a z4m coupe?

- bluetooth phone prep
- some sort of passenger airbag deactivation to allow fitting or rear facing baby seat

and if so, what sort of cost am I looking at for each?

yes you can retrofit bluetooth but its a fairly large job

guide here
http://www.bimmernav.com/BMW_Z4_Bluetooth_Installa...

you might want to ask in the M forum on http://www.z4-forum.com/ if you have any specific questions as I think some have done it on there. later versions of the ULF module are compatible with more phones etc are the things you need to look out for.

Airbag

I think you may need to have the isofix kit for this option not sure, but if its there open the passenger door, at the door hinge, in the end of the dashboard is a key hole for your ignition key to disable the airbag. This should also light the telltale light on the centre console in front and to the left of the gear stick (ie opposite to the sport button)

not sure if the isofix kit is retrofit and most try to get the bluetooth of ebay so costs are variable

Does pulling the fuse cause any issues?

When you put it back in again, does everything revert back to normal?

On a Z4? That trips the airbag light on the dash though doesn't it?! Requiring a trip to the stealers and £££ to quash it.
