I used to have one of these beasts, and I love 'em, but that price is simply mad!! Wonder how much they bought it for??? Can anyone enlighten me???

That does look kind of awesome in a f@ck you I drive a dayglo mental wagon kind of way...but I suspect the comedy angle would wear off upon checking your bank balance. Still fancy one of these one day but I'm guessing they're keen to keep this as a museum piece at that price.

Click onto PH Classifieds.

The car was up for £22,995 in what looked like a private sale. The advert is still there, although now showing as sold.

Believe it or not they will soon have another one as well, albeit slightly different spec.
They have just bought mine off me, and they are paying good money for well looked after low mileage cars, must be one hell of a showroom to look around.

Steve it must have been tough to part with a car that special. Where are going to go from here?

"A car with looks only it's mother could love."

Absolutely bonkers price. I'm guessing they're trying to sell them to collectors that are going to stuff them in a garage / showroom and never turn a wheel again.

Very tough, I actually owned this car about 3 years ago, then sold it to someone that shows cars to a very high standard, bought it back a few months ago, but unfortunately due to personal circumstances it had to be sold.
Probably going to have a break from owning anything expensive for a while, but I'm sure I will get the bug again.

Both of these will appear in their Canary Wharf showroom and sell to a mad banker / broker / financial institution person who will spend their bonus without remorse.

Knowing one or two of these people....fools and money come to mind. Hexagon add a decent 20% plus to many of their cars and I am amazed that people spend their money with them, but such is life.

Love the Z3M Coupes! Good for existing owners!
Also, anyone else see the new Fezza that looks very much like the Z3M?

It's a pity they are such rude and unpleasant people, really.

Me too. They had a car I was interested in, made an appointment to drive it, drove an hour for the appointment to find it:

1. Behind 5 cars in the showroom
2. Covered in whirl marks, worst paint I've seen in ages

To which the guy said:

1. They don't do test drives
2. It was the best condition paint you'll find in the country

I preferred it when they published their stock list in the back of the Sunday Times, that was good for a giggle.

I enjoy my visits there;

A. to look at the lovely cars they have in stock.
B. to be quietly amused by their ridiculous attitude.

Not saying what they offered for my M5 as a trade-in, but I laughed at the offer. To be fair, the guy acknowledged that the offer was a piss-take. I kept the car.

He was on the other end of a phone, so couldn't tell. I suspect so however.

Thing is though: someone is buying their stock!

weirdly they offered me 3k more than anyone else to buy outright my wife's 135i.. So not always derisory. Strange business model though. Although I live round the corner, it's inconceivable I would ever buy something from them. I tried once, but reasonable negotiation was futile!

I have only had dealings with Tim, and he has been very proffesional and polite, although when they ring you asking about your car I suppose it's different, ( at least you know that they are interested ).
This will be the second car they have bought from me, and both times they have paid the price i wanted, although they have both been low mileage very good example vehicles.
But on the whole, I have found most main dealers to be far from polite sometimes, but we all have a choice, ( turn around and walk away ).
