Well finally the March edition of BMW CAR Magazine is released! With my beast appearing on the very front cover and an incredible write up covering 7 pages of awesome photos and amazing literary skills! Even if I do say so myself the write was great, full of facts, AMAZING figures data and written up in an informative and amusing way. Had me smiling ear to ear and giggling like a little girl throughout!

The photographer has done an amazing job and I must admit to being a little a worried when hanging so far out of the camera car to get some photos! But I think he has captured some amazing images. Was a real pleasure to meet with Seb the assistant editor and Matt the photographer, Seb really knows his BMWs and his M cars and the “energetic/spirited” drive was fun by all made a an interesting and memorable day out! Hope you enjoy the article as much as I did! AND As I know Seb reads this forum, go and buy/subscribe to his magazine as it has some great material and much better piccys than those I’ve posted here! Hope you all enjoy the read as much as I did!

Mark.

Just read it, it's been sitting in my lounge for a few days, must admit I was more interested in the Wiesmann (sorry!), although now i've read what you've done, I might spend a bit on the M6, so thanks!!

Nice article!!

Made me remember the day a while back when I met Seb for the day when they did an article on my black m-coupe (coupe de grace). Was fun and the difference a pro photographer makes is massive!
Just put the car up for sale but I will always have the magazine and cd of pics for great reminders of it.

I saw the mag earlier and thought I recognised that plate, now I know I've seen you around Southampton a few times! Problem solved, I can now sleep soundly at night....

Beautiful car, it looks fantastic in those pictures.

My car was recently in Total BMW as part of the Evolve photo shoot so I know how it feels to see your car in print. Enjoy the moment smile

If I just got the headers fitted, would I need a remap?
I suppose they'd need to take the engine out to fit these?
Can you remember how much they cost to supply and fit?

Its a far far cry from the days when you had the Citreon BX mate...well done with the car. I thought Southampton had a noise pollution policy!!!!

That looks great with some serious money spent on it! I got some carbon off ebay for less than £500 for mine it was very good quality and transformed the interior imo not sure if yours is covered but anything is better than the plastic aluminium that comes standard or the fake wood. Taking the original off was not a big job except the door handles which meant having to remove the door cards which was a pain.

You don't need a remap for any other reason than to get the best performance from the ECU with the new headers. the headers alone won;t throw any fault codes. I drove mine all the way back from Italy where they were fitted on standard software!

It's not engine out, but it is around 20 hours labour I'm told. I think the current cost for the whole system is around 7k. Can be seen on www.supersprint.com
