What colour is my car?

I've always thought it was Steel Grey, someone has said it's Silver Grey. So I'm now wondering which one it is.

Looks like Silver Grey to me (same as my CSL was). What reg? Could be wrong but I think Silver Grey was introduced some time in 2003?

yours looks like silver grey , look on chassis plate under the bonnet the colour name will be there

Steel Grey is stunning (especially in the sun) and the main reason it took a good bit of searching to find the right colour/right spec when I bought mine as below.

You're right, it is a stunning colour. If I get another in a year or two's time it's defiantly the colour I would go for.

I had a 53 plate that was steel grey, didn't silver grey replace steel?

yep silver replaced steel, but there must of been a few steels "knocking around" in the m factory not sold!

same as mystic blue replaced topaz blue

My ex missus got a steel grey m3 as a courtesy car back in 2006 on a 06 plate when someone trashed her audi tt.(no local audi dealer at the time so it went to bmw)
