My alloys are a little bit nackered so I'm going to get them completely stripped and refurbed. The place I'm going to get them done offer a whole load of different colours and shades, so I was thinking of going for an alternative to the boggo silver ones, but I'm just not sure which ones to go for!

The car (E46 M3) is Carbon Black and the choices that I've narrowed it down to are:

Charcoal:

Gloss Black (not sure about this one really):

Smoked chrome (my current favourite):

Gunmetal:

Unfortunately, I couldn't find pictures with anything resembling my real wheels, so you'll have to use your imagination to put them on 19" M3's!

Also, total cost is £408. That includes drop off car, total stripback and refurb, relaquer, recolour, powdercoat, balancing, waxing and dropping off car again. It sounds like a decent price to me, but I've got nothing to really base that on, any thoughts?

I'm not sure what Labtap is, but the photo's were copy/pasted from www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk.

What's a good price for a total refurb?

Have a look at my car on my profile.

This is my carbon black M3 with my 18" standard rims refurbished in gloss black by Lepsons.

They quoted me £60 per wheel plus VAT IIRC.

VERY nice!! The gloss black look was on the list as I think I've seen it on one before, it does look fantastic! £60 is pretty good actually, I've never done refurbs or seen prices before, so didn't know what to expect price wise, but think I'll do a bit more shopping around, don't fancy spending £40 odd extra per wheel!!
