I have a cracked rear coil apparently. AUC warranty covers it but will not pay for the other side to be changed (and the recommendation is they are always changed in pairs, which I can understand).
If I only get one changed, then in the event of an accident, my insurer could argue that the car had not been maintained in accordance with manufacturer's requirements.
If I pay for the other one to be changed too, then what's the point in renewing the warranty as one of the usual components to break has been replaced by me at my cost?!
