E92 Competition Pack wheels
Discussion
Has anyone on here had any success in sourcing Competition Pack wheels for an E92 (or, indeed, any suggestions as to how to go about it). I have managed to get hold of the part numbers (for fronts and rears) but BMW will only supply them to existing Competition Pack vehicle owners and you have to supply the Chassis/VIN number to prove the same. I did contact one dealer who happens to have an AUC Competition Pack Demonstrator coming up for sale and suggested that they could use the identification details from that vehicle to source a set of wheels for me but they weren't prepared to play ball. Silly me for assuming that they would be eager to take my money, I suppose!
BBS CH-R wheels are to a very similar style and I may have to go down that route. However, I would prefer to have exhausted the Competition Pack wheel option first. Before anyone asks, I had the CSL style wheels on a previously owned E46 CS and simply like the look that they give when compared to the stock 19 inch rims.
Apologies if this has already been covered in another thread and I have missed it.

If you really really want the original OEM wheels, you could import them

Set is £1,265 + Shipping, import duty/tax etc. They sell the black GTS version too.

Not quite the same situation, but when I was looking at getting winter wheels I looked hard at replica CSL's for my E90 but wasn't confident enough in the quality and detailed technical specs and went OEM (but the winter wheel and tyre set)
I looked at trying to source some OEM wheels second hand through a few sources but then I was uncertain about offset and size and found the few OEM M wheels that were available (usually standard wheels from E46 M3's) were so expensive it didn't make sense to me.
At the end of the day I figured that if I kept OEM wheels in good condition then I would get enough money back when I move on to another car that they would cost hardly any more than a set of replicas which would have negligible value.
If you want only one set of wheels for the car, I am sure you could sell your existing OEM wheels on ebay and so the net cost of a new set of wheels would not be much different to a set of replicas.
