hey guys advice needed.

mk1 s-special Bilstein susspension, is it adjustable? i was cleaning out my boot and underneth the spare wheel i found a couple of suspension C spanners.

any ideas?

Those are Tein C spanners. Standard Billys, to best of my recollection, are not HA.

Read the label on the spanners

Standard Bilsteins are non height adjustable. The lower spring perch rests on a circlip however so if you were so inclined you could remove the shocks and use a lathe to add in lower grooves for the circlip.

i am starting to think i may have Tien suspension, i am going to jack her up and have a butchers.

You'll be able to see without jacking it up. You can see the rear dampers very clearlu just by bobbing your head down under the bumper.

Yellow = bilstein. Green, threaded = Tein coilovers.

Also the top mounts on the bilsteins will have no adjustments, just a black cap or single rust nut probably. Teins will have something poking through. Look under your bonnet, it will be obvious. They will also probably be green.

i may have to give them a little clean off first. hehe everythings alittle dirty under the bumpers.
