Hmm, I find myself with dodgy handling and being based a mere 10 miles from WiM for a few weeks, it would be rude not to have new suspension fitted, right?

Only thing is, do I go for Eibach or WiM springs on a Mk3? My commute is 27 B-road miles ea. way so a degree of comfort is required!

I've got the. Eibachs on mine, if I was going to do it again I'd probably opt for the WiMs. From what I understand the Eibachs need to settle before the geo is done, whereas their own can be fitted & geoed at the same time?

As I said, it would be rude not to have them fitted smile

I went for the Eibach kit in the end, mainly due to there being a 4 week wait for the WiM springs.

I've only covered 200 mainly M-Way miles so far but delighted with the result, there is still a suppleness to the ride but obviously much greater control.

Haven't had a chance to hoon yet, hopefully the weather will clear up over the weekend biggrin

How low do the springs make the car?
Has anyone had the car scraping on the ground?

The quoted drop is 30mm.

I've gone over a few humps so far after all and haven't noticed any scraping, they are after all a Mazda option and not a Max Power 'slam it on the deck' job.

IMO the car doesn't look aftermarket lowered, simply the way it should be!

Agreed. I've got the Eibachs and it just makes the car look the way it always should have. Much better handling as well and no scraping other than on particularly aggressive speed bumps

Cool! thumbup
My dad is thinking about them on his 3.5 is all.

My car is a bit too low at the moment (and has scrapped the ground quite a lot!), but fortunately I'm on adjustable suspension.
