I have lost my coolant and overheated, no oil in the water and no water in the oil.
Looking at the engine from the front of the car I can see a small amount of steam coming up from under the inlet manifold, where could this be coming from?
All help appreciated.

There's a small coolant hose under there that is an absolute bh to get to!

Probably that or another nearby hose has perished...

Bugger.I thought I had done all of mine! I ignored advice about replacing them all and the suggestions that if one goes, they may all start to go....sure enough..

One of the front ones was the worst, simply because the split was so fine, the water was jetting out under load about the thickness of a single web from a spider. We only noticed it with two of us looking for it and only then because we just happened to have a torch on it at the exact moment the revs were raised.

Thanks people
I found the little hose at the front of the engine under the inlet manifold, it had a split on the underside, had to use a mirror to see it with a lot of light, bh to replace but job now done.
Just have to replace the antifreeze now.
