Mk 3, broken rear light glass

I've just pranged the my offside rear light - I think only the glass cover is broken. Is this an easy enough DIY job to replace if I can pick up the glass from somewhere?

Anybody ever done it? Advice, tips welcome. Is there an on-line manual anywhere which explains how?
