Right well the radiator has started leaking from where the plastic top joins to the aluminium, question is has anyone bought a radiator off ebay like this one and what is the quality like? They seem to be cheaper than autolink and mx5parts by a fair amount.

Doesn't look bad - looks similar to the one i got from Mx5 parts anyway and that is fine. From what i know the cooling requirements aren't huge anyway so i think you should be ok. Just check its got warranty i guess.
I'd recommend you put a mesh guard in your bumper whilst you are at it if you don't have one already

How desperate for one are you?
My standard one will be coming out shortly for a new aluminium one!
pretty desperate for it, but bought that one off ebay anyway looks similiar to the autolink/5parts one. its probably made by the same company anyway and yer it comes with a 2 year warranty aswell, so score, lets just see if it all fits together ok! thsnks for the offer though! My standard one will be coming out shortly for a new aluminium one!
was very tempted to pay a bit extra(3 times the price) an get a nice shiny ally one, I'm hoping to turbo my car when i finish uni and have the monies, but don't think its actually needed Carl at cbs autos has just got a standard radiator on his turbo mx5 an he said its had no problems overheating( he does have an oil cooler though).
think I'll just be happy not having to do very short journeys without topping it up with water and coming back to the car with a small puddle underneath it everytime !

No worries.
Would have been happy to get it installed a bit quicker if it would help you out and get rid of my old one.
I paid just under £56 for mine on eBay as I won it in an auction!
aww think i saw that one a few days ago, but thought oh thats going to jump in price, not worth looking..
