One of mine is smashed so I removed the remains as I thought the sharp corners might fail the MOT. Will it fail without the reflector?

I've seen them painted over so I would guess not. I don't know for sure though.

Related but slightly OT.

I have a pair of skuzzles' LED TSI's (from Nutz) I have to MOT the 5 in early Sept, anyone had any probs with these?

Its a vented indicator/side-light unit. The side light & indicator are LED with no reflectors.
Here's a pic, not my car btw.

As long as it's amber-ish and flashes at the correct rate plus it still meets the visibility criteria, I.E. can be seen from an angle at the side of the car it'll be OK, or would be OK by me.
