Snow/Winter tyres for a Mk.3 MX-5
Discussion
So the OH has decided it would be a good move to get winter tyres for her Mk.3 MX-5 this year. Her current summer tyres are 205/55/16 and pretty well due for replacement anyway so we'll get her some winters now and change and store those come spring time and get some summer ones then.
So... what's recommended? I hear good things about Toyo Snowproxes, anyone used them on their MX-5? Someone also mentioned Kumho KW17s, any good?

55?
anyway.... have checked out prices for Kumhos c/o ATS. A tad high but i know I can get them for less from them with a little negotiation.
I have heard a lot of good about Nokians and Snow proxes but i am unable to speak from experience.
I look forward to any feedback

Apologies, 50 - you're right, I made a typo. The Kumho KW17s are £82.30 on mytyres.co.uk, not sure if that's more or less than what ATS list as I can't see them on there. Are you saying you've tried them before? Not sure from your post...55?
