Its time to turbo my MX5 westfield (well over the winter months it is!) Now P5 have decided they arent going to deal with turbos for the forseable future while they develop their suspension and frame rails, who are the next best people to go to. This isnt going to be a standard project, its going to need a whole load of custom pipework and a custom manifold made up for it. Ideally someone in the south as im based in bracknell the only other people i know in the area are rotec but they seem to deal more in RX7's & 8's. Im not looking for a complicated system i only want to go to 150-160Bhp on a stock Mk1 1.6

Thanks for the help

I'm on the lookout for a second hand turbo kit at the moment for a mk1 1.6, but these guys do new begi turbo kits :

missed out on a second hand greddy kit last month on ebay, an there haven't been any proper kits since, only DIY kits using saab turbos and the like.

hope thats a help!

I used these guys for a bit of tuning on my car: Fusion Motorsport.
They are based on the same park as Surrey Rolling Road so use them for their RR tuning which is good as it's one of the best RRs around. They do all sorts of interesting builds so I'm sure this would be right up their street biggrin

T'is true.

You can also shoe-horn a Lexus V8 into a weeeee '5 - which is a bit more practical that that V12.

There are turnkey kits available from Flyin Miata for the LSx series of engines.

Would love one myself.

i never knew that turbo kits were available that cheap.. the gap between turbo and SC is getting smaller now the mini charger is going up in price.
