Im looking to replace my xenonmax bulbs in my mk2.5 and i was wondering if anyone knows of any pure white LED dipped beam bulbs?

Yes i am a cheapskate and can't be bothered buying a HID kit hehe

I've got 100w bulbs from eBay, they're bright & white.. But, I align them maybe once a month on the MOT tester so they're abit lower than they should be as standard. Never been flashed or anything about them, driven past plenty of Police with them too.

You won't find any. There are a lot of engineering challenges with headlamp LEDs, not least they have to pass emissions, so you'll only find them as OE equipment on a number of exotic (expensive) vehicles.

Ahh i see! Im good with the mech side of things but electrics are my pet hate, ta for your input bow

J5, are they gonna be better than my xenonmaxs tho? I might have to put a piccy on the TT thread tonight so we can compare.. yes

I have the Ring Xenonmax on mine and they are about as white as it gets without going to HID. higher wattage bulbs might be brighter but may not be whiter...

I have compared with J5 and it would seem you are correct..

I just want when i drive the car for the lit up area to be bright white like HIDs but without the cost.. rolleyes

Can you tell im a yorkshireman? hehe
