All this may be in my imagination biggrin

The car has just passed the 32K mark, it was serviced 2K miles ago and no problems were flagged up.

I've noticed the clutch bite point seems to be slightly higher, low speed 1/2/3rd gear changes are not as nearly as smooth as they can be and I seem to closer to stalling it than I have been previously.

After a fairly rapid M-Way blast to Scotland at the weekend the engine just felt rough, on checking oil level it was as normal.

The exhaust from near the front of car sounds every so slightly blowy but a quick visual inspection reveals nothing, possibly related to engine running slightly rough?

Help!

Unless you have any engi.e management lights on theres no point in a diagnostics check!
If y yooooo u did wanna do a check best thing would.be fo get urself on ebay and buy a handheld ODB2 cbecker for circa £20 to £30. Thats what I did, nice and easy and a hell of alot.cheaper than going to the garage, also useful to keep in thr car I.case of break down.

A diagnostics check could still be worthwhile. There are a lot of engine codes that get stored that don't cause a CEL.
Don't go to Mazda for it though, there must be an indi garage near you that could do it cheap or even free or otherwise someone local with an OBDII reader.
