My usual twisty B-road commute to uni today was wasted by a road closure forcing me to take the motorway. I know the old girl doesn't like it much, but it had to be done. One thing she appears to hate more, however, is the rain.

And today it was fking pouring. And I mean torrential, massive cross winds as well. (Anybody forced to use that M8 into Glasgow on a daily basis has my upmost sympathy!)

After leaving her out in the rain most of the afternoon, I began my journey home and about 5 miles into my 24 mile motorway journey she decided to show her disgust at my leaving her to soak all day broke her drivers side wiper. In rush hour traffic in the worst weather of the fking year. It didn't snap off, but it's very floppy and every time I reset it back onto the windscreen is gave a couple of swipes before flying off again.

Will have a closer look in the daylight to see what could've caused it, but in the meantime this is just a thread apologising to my little '5 for being so selfish, I promise i won't do it again. hehe

No wrong reaction, do not apologise merely threaten to by an MR2 or something if she does not behave correctly, so fix the wiper tell her you understand but go out and give her another spanking, oh and drive your MX too.

Hang on a minute. Are you saying your old lady piggy-backs you in...?

Leaving her out in the rain is a bit harsh, what did she do wrong?
