H4? Id always presumed so, but a couple of fitment lists on tinternet suggest HB4 and HB3, which Id always thought were first fitted to Mk2.5s.

Im not with my car so I cant go out and look, so Id be grateful if anyone could help as Im trying to order some Osram Nightbreakers...

Yup H4. Just a couple of days ago in fact, I fitted a pair of +120% Ultra Brilliance from Halfords and the difference is astonishing

Appreciated, thank you. Im going for Osram Nightbreaker Plus at about £13 delivered. I saw the Halfords bulbs a couple of days ago I think: were they £19:995 each currently on a BOGOF?

I didnt ask for a Trade Card price as their prices seldom match the promotional offers now and £10 a bulb was a bit minty!

The best bulbs i have used for the crap Mk 2 head light units that work and last are the PIAA xtreme force h4's, you need to stop planes trying to land on you, originally used them for years in my mk 1,s raybriggs.
They are not cheap, but they are great.
