MK3/3.5 rollbar

Has anyone fitted a rollbar to their MK3/3.5. Like to fit these to replace the standard roll hoops and fit under the roof and still be able to put the roof up and down. It's a roadster by the way.

They are indeed structural.

They are a bit on the low side. I've seen roll bars on the mk1 and 2 from TR Lane. Just thought maybe I need a bit more protection for trackday use.
