So chaps, should I put a luggage rack on the Eunos or not?

I quite like the look. Any major cons to doing it?

Marmite. I like them on some cars. Others will hate it. It's your car so if you like it go for it.

I favour buying a replacement boot lid in the right colour for £25; then fitting hardwood slats across it with four tiedowns.

Cheaper, stronger, arguably more attractive and easily replaced when you wish.

I'm not keen on this type..

But I do like these, standard on some spec MX5s I believe...

It's like Lazza said though, very marmite. Probably very handy though!

I have the bottom one on mine. It looks decent, but I've never used it.

I had that on on my Mk1 Berkeley too and also didn't ever use it. I think they look better on Mk1 than Mk2...

I got given one when I bought my mk1, used it once and it's stayed in the loft since, never felt the need to carry that much stuff in the car, including european road trips.

I doubt I'll ever use it. Was just thinking of going for a different look to the norm.

I've not seen the second style pictured. That looks quite tidy and a bit more subtle. I also like the strips of wood idea. This would tie in with the wooden nardi wheel.

I quite fancy one so that I've got a bit more luggage capacity for the trip to Le Mans Classic. Unfortunately I've got the rear wing and haven't found a rack that fits with it yet, not that I've looked THAT hard. Anybody know of one?

The OE Mazda one fits with a spoiler. Mine lives in teh shed and only goes on when required.

Have a look at boot bags..

Seem to do the job without permanently having an ugly rack that scratches your boot - good for trips away etc.
Tempted to get one for Le Mans, but I know I'll use it very rarely so I'm not sure..
