The rear wheel on my na seems to angle out slightly top to bottom. Is this normal?

No, really not.

At a bear minimum you need it re-aligned, but there may be a mechanical issue if it's really bad

I miss read, I thought you said top to bottom, that looks pretty normal its negative camber of which you need some.

Do you have anything square to check it against? It should be about the same both sides.

Take a trip to Wheels in Motion in Chesham and speak to Tony. Top bloke, transformed my car.

That depends where you live - there are many MX5 specialists that can set your car up every bit as well as WIM that may not induce a huge journey.

Personally I would always recommend a specialist that is involved in Mazda racing to set-up the car; WIM are good but not the best IMO.

Slightly OT, but I've fancied a WIM allignment for a while. The only thing (other than the distance) putting me off the idea is the state of the roads up here... Two or three potholes must throw out all their hard work, surely?

Anybody had any experience of this?

Very true.

I have mine done every 6 months or so, but am in the trade so it's not a problem. I just made up my own alignment figures to be honest.
