I am supposed to be driving my 1990 Eunos back from Germany tomorrow - just noticed a dinner-plate-sized puddle of oil under the engine today rolleyes...This is definitely a new leak, I know since I checked underneath on Sunday and the ground was dry. The oil on the dipstick has dropped about 3mm since Sunday too...which is about 1/5 of the way to empty (i've covered maybe 30 miles since then).

The car is otherwise running well, oil pressure seems to be normal etc....please tell me this sounds like an easy fix?! And bear in mind I have absolutely no clue what to do with a spanner....frown

Thanks in advance for any ideas....

You need to get under the car with a torch to see if you can find a trail of oil coming down from a particular place. I suppose as something quick and easy, you could reach the oil filter on the right side of the engine and see if it's loose.

Could be anything, you need to get the car jacked up and find a trail of oil. Hand tighten the oil filter as that can drip onto the under tray, then run off at an angle causing leak location confusion.
